Comparison/Contrast Paragraph

Are sweet potatoes healthier than regular ones?

The truth is that both sweet and regular potatoes can be highly nutritious. Regular potatoes originate in South America, as well as sweet potatoes, yet they are only distantly related. Both are tuberous root vegetables, although they differ in appearance and taste. Sweet potatoes tipically have brown skin and orange flesh but also come in purple, yellow, and red varieties. On the contrary, the skin of regular potatoes can be brown, yellow, and red and they have white or yellow flesh. Similar to sweet ones, white potatoes are also rich in fiber, carbs, and vitamins. However, white potatoes are higher in potassium, whereas sweet potatoes contain more vitamin A. The effect that eating potato has on your blood sugar, is different among the types of both sweet and regular potatoes. Overall, not only sweet potatoes can fit into a healthy diet, but also regular potatoes, when prepared in nutritious ways.
