Something on me

Working on the radio as a reporter sounds like a dream job for many people. What might be surprising is that I have chosen this profession by accident. When I finished my studies on Theology I started to teach in elementary schools. But I felt some kind of urge to expand the size of my audience. Therefore I applied for a post-graduate degree and began to work at a music radio station as a co-editor. After two years I was ready to accept a new position at Hungarian Catholic Radio. Having the opportunity to have my own shows I improved my skills of making interviews, editing and presentation. On the one hand my work is flexible, creative and diverse. On the other hand it is stressful, complex and demanding. Still, it provides an inspirational and independent life style. Being a reporter-editor I have become more confident. It allows me to do other things such as writing and studying English at a university.
